Do I need to create an account to resize an image?

No. Released SNS LocalTools image workflows do not require an account.

Will SNS LocalTools upload the selected image?

Released workflows process selected images in the browser. The static application loads from SNS, but selected files are not sent to an SNS upload queue.

Can JPG preserve transparency?

No. JPG does not support transparency. The PNG to JPG workflow explains this trade-off before conversion.
